Last Meet­ing before Sum­mer Break! Join us for a Fun Chat! Sum­mer is knock­ing on our doors, but before we dive into vaca­tion mode, we’ve got one last meet­ing for you! Get ready for an awe­some time at the Vir­tu­al Stereo­scop­ic Com­mu­ni­ty gathering.

Pas­cal will show us with a pre­sen­ta­tion on small stereo­scop­ic view­ers. Get ready to be amazed and inspired by his knowl­edge and passion!

But that’s not all! We want to bring our com­mu­ni­ty even clos­er, so we’re leav­ing plen­ty of time for us to min­gle, chat, and con­nect on a per­son­al lev­el. Let’s share sto­ries, swap tips, and delve into any top­ics that tick­le our fan­cy — not just 3D stuff!

Stere­oscopy day on June 21st is your chance to show your best stereo image!

We are very sor­ry that this mon­th’s announce­ment is ter­ri­bly late! We still hope that many of you are able to join us TOMORROW.

First, we have George Themelis in our Pho­tog­ra­ph­er Spot­light, who will take us on a jour­ney through Greece. After that, we will trav­el around the globe to look at some trea­sures of our com­mu­ni­ty mem­bers dur­ing a Show & Tell. We will fin­ish with an In-Depth Socializing.

Then, we’ll be show­ing a com­mu­ni­ty slideshow fea­tur­ing all the stere­os that YOU sub­mit­ted to our May challenge.

Join the Vir­tu­al Stereo­scop­ic Com­mu­ni­ty (VSC) for an excit­ing online meet­ing this Sun­day! Carl­ton will share the fas­ci­nat­ing sto­ry of Polaroid 3D Art­work and the Wheat­stone Plex­i­glass view­ers, while Peter will intro­duce us to his ani­mat­ed com­e­dy series, “Pint Size Chat”. And don’t miss the chance to get to know your fel­low com­mu­ni­ty mem­bers dur­ing our In-Depth Social­iz­ing sec­tion. Whether you’re a sea­soned pro or just get­ting start­ed in stereo­scop­ic pho­tog­ra­phy, this event promis­es to be fun and infor­ma­tive. See you there!

We’re hap­py to have David Stark­man pre­sent­ing one item of his huge col­lec­tion: An Ives Kromoskop!
Also, David Kuntz and Vanes­sa Grein will talk about their col­lab­o­ra­tion, describe some of their work­ing meth­ods, and of course, share many of their images.

In our Com­mu­ni­ty Slideshow we will show all images that our mem­bers sub­mit­ted for the „Home­town“ Challenge.
Besides that we are look­ing for­ward to a photographer’s high­light: Dave Wynn will be pre­sent­ing his stere­os from Scot­land and Wales. Using his Fuji Finepix W3 and cha chas tak­en with his sin­gle lens iPhone, Dave has been exper­i­ment­ing with get­ting the most out of 3D landscapes.
You will also have the chance get to know one of our mem­bers bet­ter as we con­tin­ue the In-Depth-Social­iz­ing series.

Hap­py New Year! For the first meet­ing of 2023 we will have one pre­sen­ta­tion and plen­ty of time for our community.
Katya will show us some extra­or­di­nary slides pro­duced in the Sovi­et Bloc dur­ing the 1970s. We will also have a Show & Tell sec­tion in which every­one is invit­ed to share a trea­sured 3D item or pho­to they’re excit­ed about.
So don’t for­get to bring some­thing with you — noth­ing is too ordi­nary to share it with us!
For the last part of our meet­ing we will take some time to intro­duce some­one from our community.

Join our Christ­mas meet­ing on Decem­ber 11! We will cel­e­brate mod­ern stere­oscopy togeth­er in sev­er­al ways. First, we will have Klara Wang pre­sent­ing about 2D to 3D con­ver­sions. She will show us some exam­ples of this pop­u­lar trend and demon­strate her stan­dard work­flow. Then we will look once again at your amaz­ing stereo pho­tos that you have sub­mit­ted for our fourth stereo chal­lenge. Final­ly, it’s raf­fle time… more details below! We’re look­ing for­ward to see­ing you on Sun­day, Decem­ber 11th at 2:00 pm EST / 8:00 pm CET. Don’t for­get some gin­ger­bread and your San­ta hat!

In our next meet­ing, Cindy will show us her amaz­ing Stereo Nightscapes and Pas­cal will tell us about his research on simul­ta­ne­ous stereo pho­tog­ra­phy with smartphones.
We will also have a Show & Tell sec­tion in which every­one is invit­ed to share a trea­sured 3D item or pho­to they’re excit­ed about with the community.

Our next meet­ing is full of beau­ti­ful stereo pho­tos of our mem­bers. We’ll start with a vir­tu­al trip to Malaysia with our tour guide Choon Ean as our first pre­sen­ter. After that, we will reveal your sub­mis­sions to our Macro Chal­lenge in our third com­mu­ni­ty slide show. Once again, we are amazed by your sub­mis­sions.
