VSC Meeting, January 2024

We wish you all a Hap­py New Year filled with bound­less cre­ativ­i­ty, remark­able per­spec­tives, and end­less inspi­ra­tion. May 2024 bring depth and dimen­sion to every frame! 

Unfor­tu­nate­ly we had to resched­ule it to Jan­u­ary 14th and hope you can make it pos­si­ble. We’re already excit­ed to meet again next Sun­day and we are hap­py to have Patrick show­ing us stereo­scop­ic pho­tos from his last trip in 2023.

After that, we have planned a “Show & Tell” block. We hope you love this con­cept as much as we do.
That was rea­son enough for us to add some­thing else — name­ly the oppor­tu­ni­ty for ques­tions to the com­mu­ni­ty. It does­n’t mat­ter whether they are begin­ner ques­tions about the cha-cha method or spe­cial­ist ques­tions that you only stum­ble across after many years.
We believe that your ques­tions are just as inter­est­ing and enter­tain­ing for the community!

Madeira in 3D

Patrick from Ger­many shows stereo­scop­ic pho­tos from his last trip in Octo­ber 2023 to the Por­tuguese island of Madeira, also known as the “flower island” due to its spe­cial cli­mate. Patrick par­tic­u­lar­ly liked hik­ing along the levadas.

Patrick has been inter­est­ed in stere­oscopy for sev­er­al years. When he start­ed post­ing pho­tos on Insta­gram in August 2021, he was pleas­ant­ly sur­prised at how big the scene actu­al­ly is and that he found new friends and a lot of exchange about this hobby.
