History
The Polaroid 3D Artwork and the Plexiglass “Wheatstone” viewers.
D. Carlton Bright
With the introduction of the Polaroid SX-70 Camera, new creative frontiers were accessible. My talk goes into the studio’s initial use of this unique camera before moving on to the stereoscopic artwork produced over a three-year period in the 1980’s. Also, it will feature a number of “Wheatstone” Plexiglass viewers that I made for these special stereoscopic Polaroid images.

“Pint Size Chat” – Creating Characters With Depth
Peter Spence
Carl and Harry thought they understood the world outside. But now it’s evolving faster than they are. Their local London pub offers them sanctuary, a pint, and a place to share their confusion. Welcome to “Pint Size Chat”.
Peter Spence, founder of Putty Studios, will give us an in-depth introduction to the creative and technical process behind his comedy series, combining animation, motion capture, and digital puppetry, all delivered in stereoscopic 3D.
Community
In-Depth Socializing
featuring you!
The advantage of a virtual community is that we can gather online, no matter where we’re from. But we don’t have the chance to socialize in person. That’s why we have a section called „In-Depth Socializing“ to get to know each other a bit better. Each time, we interview one or two of our community members.
