Object Details

Stereoscope ‘Planox’, Long Focus, with Original Storage Box

Details

The Plocq firm manufactured a range of Planox branded hand-held stereoscopes primarily intended for glass stereoviews. The early basic model was later followed by a version that is almost identical to Mattey’s Stéréoscope Standard. This suggests that some form of collaboration may have existed between Plocq and Mattey.
