We are looking forward to seeing you this Sunday for a fun meeting!

History

Historic Stereo 3D Walking Tours in NYC

Mark Anderson

Many tourists today are surprised to learn that 3D photography has been an integral part of sharing travel experiences for nearly two centuries. New York City is fortunate to have been the focus of so many talented stereo photographers who documented the city as it developed. Mark Anderson is a former historic preservation architect, who has helped to preserve Manhattans skyline and beyond for decades. He’s now a licensed tour guide who is giving tourists a greater understand and appreciation of New Yorks architecture, and using historic 3D images to immerse participants into the past. 3D is a great tool to understand the past and Mark also hopes its use on his tours will bring a new level of understanding about 3D to casual tour audiences.
